Image administration
Clicking the special marks application will open a pop-up window which contains an image configuration area. If you open application with already inserted image, the pop-up window will show this image in preview mode and you will allow set attributes for that image. To insert new image press Choose from image archive button, then the pop-up window will reopen to the Image Archive. Also you have a possibility to Add/choose restricted image, which means that the image will be added as document with his own Meta ID, not as a part of a page.
After selecting the desired image you can set additional attributes for it.
Image path
The path to the file in your computer/network is displayed here.
Image name
The name of the image is given here. It is not shown at any other location.
Format
The image’s width, height and border or frames (if any) are controlled here. All measurements are in pixels.
Space around image
Width of the empty invisible space around the image. The size of this space is entered in pixels. Both vertical and horizontal spaces can be controlled.
Text alignment
Height of an empty space under an image to start text from.
NB! The design template determines if this function is enabled on this page.
Click on to select an alternative:
- None: The placement of the text is determined by the visitor’s browser’s default setting.
- Baseline: The text begins at the bottom right-hand corner of the image, with the base of the text exactly at the baseline and continues directly under the image.
- Top: The first row of text begins at the top right-hand corner while the second row continues directly under the image.
- Middle: The first row of text starts in the center of the image (to the right of the right-hand edge), while row two continues under the image.
- Bottom: The text begins at the bottom right-hand corner of the image near the baseline, and continues directly under the image.
- Text top: The highest part of the text is flush with the image’s top corner (to the right of the image).
- Exact Middle: The mid point of the text (height wise) is placed at the mid point of the image (to the right of the image).
- Exact Bottom: The lowest point of the text (such as the tail of the letter) is placed exactly at the base of the image (to the right of the image).
- Image left: The text is to the RIGHT of the image.
- Image right: The text is to the LEFT of the image.
Alternative text
This text will be displayed by browsers that do not support images. In the most common browsers, this text also appears when the pointer is over the image for over a half of a second.
Linked image
In Path/URL field you shall enter the proper page address which you create a link.
If internal link is chosen, you need to use document ID.
If external link is chosen, you need to use path to linked document. Enter the FULL URL web address here (do not begin just with "http://www.imcms.com", for example).
In the section Link target you can control how the linked page will be displayed:
- Same frame means that the page will be opened in the same frame as where the link is found.
- Same window means that the page will be opened in the same window as where the link is found.
- New window means that the page will be opened in a new browser window.
- Top frame means that the page will be opened in a new frame which replaces all other frames (if there are more than one) in the current window.
- Other frame: Opens the frame that you choose from the current frameset. Enter the name of the frame in the field to the right.
