Categories and category types administration

• Search engine to find a document that belongs to a certain category. This can be done automatically or manually
• Java or JavaScript code in the system to alter properties of the page, or to specify graphical styles like colours, symbols etc.
  E.g.: If a link belongs to a previously created category: "Important", which is configured to set red colour to the links, then this link will be red-coloured
• Any Java code to create automatic functions that will process data to the preset-up page or position. E.g., to show all links that have been categorized as "ShowOnFirstPage" on the first page.

All categories must be devided by category types.

Create category type
Fill name field and choose how the categories in this category type later can be selected by ticking between radio buttons.
Mark “Inherited to new documents” if selected categories of this type on a document will be assigned to new documents created from the document.
Then click on Create button below.

Edit category type
Select Category type from drop-down menu and press Select button.
Fill new name field and choose how the categories can be selected by ticking between radio buttons.
To finish click Save button.

Remove category type
Select Category type from drop-down menu and press Remove button.
Only empty Category types can be removed.

Create category
Fill "Category name" and "Description"(optional).
If you want to use iconic image select it from computer with help of Browse button.
Select the type which you want to add new category and click Create button.

Edit category
First you need to select category type, which category is situated.
Then select your category. All properties are the same as in “Create category” window.

Remove category
First you need to select category type, which category is situated. Then select your category.
Press Remove button if you sure that you doesn’t need it anymore.

View category
First you need to select category type, which category is situated. Then select your category.
