Default formats to edit text in text editor are: Plain text, HTML and Editor. To exclude some of the formats from text editor of current text field use formats attribute. The text field wit formats=”text” will have text editor with only plain text format.

Example:

<?imcms:text no=”1” formats=“text”?>

New lines will be converted to "<BR>" and html wiil be escaped on output.
