Here you can control role permissions for each page.

Role privileges: Displays the roles that have some level of privileges on the page in question.

  • None means that not even the link is seen by this role unless "Show page link to unauthorized users" is ticked.
  • Read means that users with this role can read everything on the page, but cannot make any changes.
  • Limited 2 means users with this role can do what Limited 2 is allowed to do on this page. To edit the authority of Limited 2 see Define privileges.
  • Limited 1 means users with this role can do what Limited 1 is allowed to do on this page. To edit the authority of Limited 1 see Define privileges.
  • Full means that the users with these privileges can make any change on this page.

The level of privileges is changed for a role by clicking on a new white radio button. If none is marked, the role will be moved to "Roles without privileges" once you click on Save button below.

Roles without privileges: By selecting a role and clicking on Add, roles already in the system can be transferred to the page’s role privileges table. A level of privileges can be assigned there.

Define limited privileges for current page / Define for new documents
By clicking on this button either by "Limited 1" or "Limited 2", a new settings page will appear where you can define in detail the privileges to be given. "Define for new documents" means that you can define the privileges configuration of future sub-pages created from this page and that this configuration can be different than those on this page. Default settings for new sub-pages will otherwise be those found on this page.

Default template for new pages
Means that you can define the default template of future sub-pages created from this page. Select the template from the drop-down menu.

Precedence checkbox means that Limited 1 has more privileges than Limited 2 on this specific page. This checkbox should be ticked if you wish to strongly differentiate the two dynamic levels of privileges. This tick means that Limited1 is allowed to redefine the authority of Limited 2 and change the roles assigned to the lower levels of the page.
